Softball Recap: Northridge Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beaver, Northridge was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 12-7 win over the Viewmont Vikings. With that victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 6.7 runs per game.

Makaybree Nay was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Madisyn Lecour was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Northridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Viewmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Northridge will square off against White Pine at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. Northridge is facing White Pine at the right time seeing as White Pine is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Viewmont, they will head out on the road to square off against Northridge at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
