Soccer Recap: Dimond Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eagle River on Friday, Dimond came back down to earth. The Lynx fell just short of the West Anchorage Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. It was the first time this season that Dimond let down their fans at home.

Dimond's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for West Anchorage, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dimond will face off against rival South Anchorage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Anchorage is set to challenge their familiar foe Bettye Davis East Anchorage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
