Soccer Recap: Jacobs Takes a Loss

Jacobs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Dundee-Crown Chargers. While losing is never fun, Jacobs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Dundee-Crown are ranked 38th).

Jacobs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-2. As for Dundee-Crown, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4-3.

Jacobs wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Crystal Lake South on the 9th. As for Dundee-Crown, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Prairie Ridge on the 9th.
