Basketball Recap: Monument Valley Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maryvale, Monument Valley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 41-40 win over the Kirtland Central Broncos. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 75-72 loss the last time these two teams met.

Monument Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Kirtland Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Monument Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Ganado at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kirtland Central and Farmington will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
