Football Recap: Highlands Ranch Falcons vs. Kennedy Commanders
You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Highlands Ranch on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Kennedy Commanders out of the water with a 34-6 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.
Daniel Schnittker had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 161 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also catching one TD. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.

Highlands Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Kennedy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Coming up, Highlands Ranch will welcome Bear Creek at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Bears' defense has only allowed 8.5 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Kennedy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hinkley at 2:00 p.m. on October 11.
