Del Mar is 0-4 against Christopher since March of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Dons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Del Mar has given up an average of 19.4 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christopher). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Evergreen Valley a 17-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Christopher, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Audrina Cabanlit and Katelyn Vega made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Cabanlit pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Vega tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, Cabanlit posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2025. At the plate, Cabanlit got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and three RBI, while Vega got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs. That home run marked the first that Cabanlit has launched this season.
In other batting news, Christopher got a massive performance out of Bella Loredo, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, Loredo posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia McGhie, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Christopher always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .732. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The win (which was Christopher's third in a row) raised their record to 14-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Del Mar, their loss dropped their record down to 1-21.
