Basketball Recap: Marine Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

Marine Leadership Academy lost against Intrinsic back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Marine Leadership Academy Bulldogs were dealt a 62-21 loss at the hands of the Intrinsic Mustangs. The defeat leaves the Bulldogs without a win on the season.

Leading Intrinsic to victory were Giovanni Zacarias and Victor Guzman. Zacarias posted 16 points, while Guzman had 15 points. The dominant performance gave Zacarias a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Delaney, who put up eight points.

Marine Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Intrinsic, they moved to 9-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Marine Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Intrinsic, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Holy Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
