Basketball Game Preview: Centaurus Warriors vs. Skyline Falcons

The Centaurus Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Skyline Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Last Thursday, Centaurus lost to Erie on the road by a 58-43 margin.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Nick Jones, who posted nine points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jt Falzone, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Skyline ended up a good deal behind Holy Family on Friday and lost 64-48. The Falcons were down 47-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Centaurus' loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 8-13.

Centaurus strolled past Skyline in their previous meeting back in January of 2022 by a score of 53-39. Will Centaurus repeat their success, or does Skyline have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
