Oblong gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh Titans. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oblong took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15.

Macy Krick paced Oblong's offense, picking up six kills. Krick got some help from Brylee Murray and her ten assists. Maddie Lewis and Layla Krick kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Oblong wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cumberland on the 26th. Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh has also already played their next match (against Tuscola), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
