Baseball Recap: Chaffey Takes a Loss

Chaffey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Chino Cowboys. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-3 loss last Wednesday.

Chaffey saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Resendez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Chaffey's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Chino, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaffey will take on Colony at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chino, they will host Don Lugo at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Conquistadores will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Cowboys surely won't give up without a fight.
