Volleyball Recap: Moore Haven's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Moore Haven had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lake Placid Dragons by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Moore Haven was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 16-25, 25-10.

Moore Haven was led to victory by Kulipa Julian and Trinity Guerry. Julian had 18 digs and four aces, while Guerry had three digs and two aces. That's the most digs Guerry has posted over her last three matchups.

They weren't the only good servers: Moore Haven was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces in four consecutive matches.

Moore Haven's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Lake Placid, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore Haven will host Glades Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Placid, they will welcome Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
