Columbus Christian takes loss despite strong efforts from Josh Conrad and Peyton Walden

The Columbus Christian Crusaders were the 53-37 winner over the Medora Hornets when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Columbus Christian received a tough blow on Saturday as they fell 68-53 to Medora. Columbus Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Columbus Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Peyton Walden and Josh Conrad. Walden scored eight points along with 15 rebounds, while Conrad scored 13 points along with two steals. Walden has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 11 times he's played. Cam Pritchard was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists.
Columbus Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Medora, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.
Columbus Christian will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Seven Oaks Classical at 2:45 p.m. Seven Oaks Classical is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Medora, Medora and Pleasant View Christian will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pleasant View Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Medora in Indiana (Pleasant View Christian is ranked 136th, while Medora is ranked 432nd).
