Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial suffered their biggest defeat since January 17th on Monday. They were beaten by the Hillsboro Burros 51-23. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Cougars' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Centennial's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-16. As for Hillsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Centennial nor Hillsboro have any future games scheduled.
