Volleyball Recap: Independence 76ers vs. Briggs Bruins
Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Briggs Bruins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the 76ers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-11.
Independence's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Briggs, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-1.
