Softball Recap: Islip Comes Up Short

Islip blew Westhampton Beach out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Westhampton Beach got their revenge. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Buccaneers have suffered since April 16, 2025.

Islip now has a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Islip is taking a road trip to challenge Rocky Point at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westhampton Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
