Volleyball Recap: North Daviess Starts off Right with Win over Paoli

North Daviess took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Paoli Rams by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 18-25, 25-15.

North Daviess found their leader in sophomore Jessie Yoder, who had 19 digs and two aces.

North Daviess was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Coming up, North Daviess is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Shoals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paoli, they will face off against Mitchell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
