Baseball Recap: Weaver Comes Up Short

Weaver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-0 to the Childersburg Tigers. If the Bearcats were looking for revenge after losing 9-5 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Weaver's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Childersburg, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Weaver by a score of 10-0 later that day.
