Baseball Recap: Trumann Takes a Loss

Trumann lost to Southside back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Southerners by a score of 22-21.

Jace Bennett stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Braydon Passmore was another key player, getting on base in five of his six plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Trumann's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1.

While they had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
