With a playoff win on the line, Woodbridge rose to the challenge on Friday. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Colonial Forge Eagles 35-34. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Woodbridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caleb Tucker led the charge by throwing for 363 yards and five TDs while picking up 13.4 yards per attempt. That's the most passing yards Tucker has posted since back in September. Marquece Sharpe helped Tucker out on the ground, picking up 113 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 104 yards.

Woodbridge's record now sits at 11-1. As for Colonial Forge, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Woodbridge will take on North Stafford at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolverines' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them. Colonial Forge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
