Basketball Game Preview: Alexandria Valley Cubs vs. Anniston Bulldogs

Alexandria is 0-10 against Anniston since February of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Alexandria Valley Cubs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Anniston Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Alexandria came up short against Jacksonville on Monday, falling 73-47. The Valley Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Anniston came up short against Fort Payne on Saturday and fell 43-30. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Wildcats are ranked 29th).

Anniston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Alexandria, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Alexandria took a serious blow against Anniston in their previous matchup back in January, falling 55-24. Can Alexandria avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
