Soccer Recap: Inglewood Comes Up Short

Inglewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lawndale Cardinals, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 976th, while the Cardinals are ranked 425th).

Inglewood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lawndale, they pushed their record up to 9-4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Inglewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lawndale has already played their next match (against Centennial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
