Basketball Recap: Sacramento Country Day Comes Up Short

Sacramento Country Day lost against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers took a blow against the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves, falling 77-41. The Cavaliers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from John Harb, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Vovc, who put up 15 points.

Sacramento Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they moved to 5-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sacramento Country Day will challenge Sacramento Adventist at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they will face off against John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
