Baseball Recap: River View Black Bears vs. John Glenn Muskies
River View had lost three straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it four. They came up short against the John Glenn Muskies, falling 14-2. Black Bears fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Muskies since Monday.
As for John Glenn, their record is now 4-9. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For John Glenn's part, Carter Merry made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
