Volleyball Game Preview: Pace Vikings vs. Rivera Raiders

Pace is 2-8 against Rivera since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Vikings will head out to face off against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Pace sitting on three straight wins and Rivera on 16.

On Saturday, Pace made easy work of Donna North and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pace took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-1, 25-13, 25-6.

Meanwhile, Rivera got the win against Mercedes on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-17.

Pace's win bumped their record up to 29-7. As for Rivera, their victory bumped their record up to 32-7.

Pace came up short against Rivera in their previous meeting back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
