 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Livermore had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the California Grizzlies out  6-5. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Livermore.
  Kaci Norton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and three unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Livermore let  Payten Williams and  Laine Macosky loose on the outfield. Williams  went 1-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Macosky  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Jae Cosgriff, who  went 2-for-4 with a  triple and a  run.
 On California's side,  Jayda Crosby made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and two  runs.  Kayla Steel was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Livermore pushed their record up to 21-5 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. As for California, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 16-8.
