 While Grandview Heights couldn't quite beat Grove City Christian in Saturday's  second game, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the seven-point  defeat they were dealt  in Saturday's  first game. The Grandview Heights Bobcats fell just short of the Grove City Christian Eagles by a score of  13-11. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Grandview Heights in their matchups with Grove City Christian: they've now lost five in a row.
 For Grove City Christian's part,  Abby White spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned  (and five unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up ten Ks. White has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Grove City Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Rylee Thompson, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Kelsey Kennedy, who  scored two  runs while going 4-for-5.
 Grandview Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Grove City Christian, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grandview Heights will  take on Buckeye Valley at 5:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Grove City Christian, they will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Harvest Prep at 5:15  p.m. Grove City Christian is facing Harvest Prep at the right time seeing as Harvest Prep is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
