Basketball Game Preview: Sam Houston Broncos vs. Carencro Bears

The Sam Houston Broncos will head out on the road to take on the Carencro Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sam Houston is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Sam Houston came up short against Southside and fell 49-42. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by exactly seven points.

Meanwhile, Carencro suffered their biggest defeat since January 7th on Friday. They lost 66-45 to Lafayette.

Carencro's loss dropped their record down to 14-22. As for Sam Houston, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.

Sam Houston was able to grind out a solid win over Carencro when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 63-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sam Houston since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
