Softball Game Preview: Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix vs. Santee Falcons

Dr. Maya Angelou Community is 0-10 against Santee since March of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Phoenix will challenge the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dr. Maya Angelou Community took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They skirted past Diego Rivera 10-9. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Santee played against Los Angeles on Friday and won via forfeit.

The win (which was Santee's third in a row) raised their record to 3-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Dr. Maya Angelou Community, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
