Volleyball Game Preview: St. Patrick Fighting Irish vs. West Harrison Hurricanes + How To Watch

The St. Patrick Fighting Irish are taking a road trip to challenge the West Harrison Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Patrick will be strutting in after a win while West Harrison will be coming in after a loss.

St. Patrick took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over East Central. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Fighting Irish as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, West Harrison lost 3-0 to Our Lady Academy on Thursday. The Hurricanes have struggled against the Crescents recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

West Harrison took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-18.

St. Patrick's victory bumped their record up to 21-14. As for West Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16.

St. Patrick might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from West Harrison when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Can the Fighting Irish avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
