Opelousas Catholic has gone a perfect 4-0 against David Thibodaux recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Opelousas Catholic will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Opelousas Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Westminster Christian Academy with a sharp 20-4 victory on Tuesday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Remi Bihm was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (two). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Opelousas Catholic let Madison Ludeau and Madison Gussman run wild. Ludeau went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Gussman scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those four RBI gave Ludeau a new career-high. Kale Lormand was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Opelousas Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, David Thibodaux posted their closest victory since March 13th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over Teurlings Catholic.
Morgan Malveaux made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits. Malveaux was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kylie Dronet, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Amalie Harvison, who scored a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
Opelousas Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for David Thibodaux, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
