Soccer Recap: Weatherford Comes Up Short

Weatherford's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Lake Ridge Eagles, falling 3-0. The Kangaroos just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Weatherford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Lake Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weatherford will take on Boswell at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Ridge, they will face off against Mansfield Legacy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
