Milford is a perfect 5-0 against Iroquois West since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bearcats are taking a road trip to take on the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Milford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin hit Milford with a five-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bearcats fell 8-3 to the Blue Devils. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Addison Lucht was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillie Harris, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Iroquois West came up short against Armstrong on Friday, falling 13-3. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Iroquois West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn Meents, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Iroquois West, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Milford beat Iroquois West 8-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
