Football Recap: Beddingfield Bruins vs. Goldsboro Cougars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Croatan, Beddingfield was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Goldsboro Cougars 49-6 at home. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bruins considering their six-point performance the contest before.
Desmond Wooten was a one-man wrecking crew for Beddingfield as he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. That's the most rushing yards Wooten has posted since back in October of 2023.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Beddingfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
