Baseball Recap: Casa Roble Gets the Win

After losing to Union Mine the last time they met, Casa Roble decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rams walked away with a 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Ian Peatross, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Casa Roble is undefeated when Peatross posts two or more stolen bases, but 6-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Nate Stillman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Casa Roble now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Union Mine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Coming up, Casa Roble will take on Center at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union Mine, they will square off against Galt at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
