Soccer Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short

St. John lost against Continental back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bluejays came up short against the Pirates, falling 5-0.

St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Continental, they pushed their record up to 3-0-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, St. John's will welcome Kalida at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. St. John's are facing Kalida at the right time seeing as Kalida are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Continental, they will head out to challenge Wauseon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Continental will be up against Wauseon's rather soft defense (which has allowed six goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
