Seaforth is 7-1 against North Moore since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Seaforth Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the North Moore Mustangs at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, Seaforth had to suffer through a 69-40 loss at the hands of Northwood. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Chargers are ranked 45th).

Meanwhile, North Moore can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 63-62 photo finish over Bartlett Yancey.

North Moore's win came from a few key players Seaforth will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brady Preslar, who went 6 for 11 en route to 20 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Blake Pennington, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

North Moore smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

This is the second loss in a row for Seaforth and nudges their season record down to 9-10. As for North Moore, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.

Everything came up roses for Seaforth against North Moore in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 78-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seaforth since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
