The Trinity Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 37-36 to Temple Christian. Trinity was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Temple Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Among those leading the charge was Luke Cisneros, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ethan Rife, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.

Trinity's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Temple Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will face off against Weatherford Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Temple Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Fellowship Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Temple Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Saturday.
