Bedford has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bishop Carroll recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bisons are taking a road trip to face off against the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Bedford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Bedford and Westmont Hilltop meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Bisons fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 3-2.

Gabe Taylor put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Taylor was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Taylor wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Joey Huxta, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bishop Carroll's offense. They came up short against Chestnut Ridge on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Huskies just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Bishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Bedford, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Bedford came out on top in a nail-biter against Bishop Carroll in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 6-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bisons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
