Softball Game Preview: Choctaw County Chargers vs. Eupora Eagles

The Choctaw County Chargers will square off against the Eupora Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Choctaw County will be strutting in after a victory while Eupora will be coming in after a defeat.

Choctaw County's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Winona 10-0. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Eupora and Sebastopol meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 5-3. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly two runs.

Choctaw County's victory bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Eupora, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-4.
