Morristown is 8-1 against Roxbury since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Morristown is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 6, 2024 on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Chatham and fell 76-45. The loss continues a trend for the Colonials in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Roxbury came up short against Somerville on Monday, falling 64-38. While losing is never fun, the Gaels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Pioneers are ranked 80th).

Morristown's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Roxbury, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Morristown didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Roxbury in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 71-67 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morristown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
