Basketball Recap: First Assembly Christian Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

On Thursday, the First Assembly Christian Academy Eagles earned a 58-51 victory over the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

First Assembly Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sean James out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jausten Rivera, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals.

Seven Rivers Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Michael Johnston, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. What's more, Johnston also racked up seven steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Caleb Kuntz, who had 18 points and three steals.
