Volleyball Recap: Perry Takes Down Ranked Basha + How To Watch

Perry faced Basha in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Pumas won by a set and slipped past the Bears 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Perry was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 24-26, 26-24, 17-25, 25-23, 15-7.

Perry was led to victory by Campbell Pierratt and Braeley Norton. Pierratt had 14 assists and seven digs, while Norton had 31 digs and four aces. Those 31 digs gave Norton a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Perry was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Basha still got an impressive performance from Isla Little, who had 16 digs and four assists. Little has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Perry is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-15 record this season. As for Basha, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-11.
