LKY entered their tilt with Oak Forest on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 61-56 W against the Oak Forest Warriors.

LKY was led to victory by Maddox Benge and Ezekiel Taylor. Benge went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc to rack up 26 points, while Taylor dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 boards. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nate Armani, who posted four points.

Despite the loss, Oak Forest had strong showings from Jack Hunter, who had 13 points and six steals, and Tyler Woolard, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave Woolard a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Philip Rogers, who earned nine points.

LKY's victory bumped their record up to 13-21. As for Oak Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-13.

LKY has already played their next game, a 52-49 win against CSTHEA on the 5th. As for Oak Forest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-47 defeat against Greenville H on the 5th.
