Recap: Amador Buffaloes vs. Calaveras Red Hawks

The Amador Buffaloes suffered their biggest loss since December 28, 2023 on Friday. Their tough 61-41 defeat to Calaveras might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Amador has suffered against Calaveras since May 15, 2021.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calaveras to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luca Pasqualin, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Pasqualin is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Corbin Curran, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.

Amador has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. As for Calaveras, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amador will take on Summerville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Summerville and four for Amador. As for Calaveras, they will head out on the road to take on Argonaut at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
