Basketball Recap: Houston Falls Short Against Ranked Bartlett

On Tuesday, Houston faced Bartlett in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Houston Mustangs fell 69-58 to the Bartlett Panthers. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Houston's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-5. As for Bartlett, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

Houston will square off against Memphis Home Education Association at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bartlett, they will challenge Cordova at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
