Basketball Recap: White River Comes Up Short

White River lost against Wall back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The White River Tigers took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wall Eagles. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wall found their leader in freshman Brittney Walker, who dropped a triple-double on 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Walker has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Frink, who posted nine points and six boards.

White River's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Wall, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

White River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-48 victory against New Underwood on the 8th. As for Wall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-45 win against Faith on the 8th.
