Sheboygan South can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They skirted past the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders 3-2. This was payback for the Redwings, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Sheboygan South who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 24-26, 25-16, 15-25, 15-10.

Scarlett Smith paced Sheboygan South's offense, picking up 15 kills. Smith got some help from Bianca Schneiderwent and her 17 assists. Schneiderwent was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Sheboygan South's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Sheboygan North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheboygan South will challenge Green Bay East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sheboygan North, they will host Bay Port at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
