 North Babylon lost a close one when they played  last Tuesday but unfortunately for them the  defeat they were handed  on Thursday was a bit more commanding. They lost  12-5 to Sachem North. North Babylon has struggled against Sachem North recently, as their  contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
  Tristan Garcia made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-3 with a  stolen base, two  RBI,  and a  double.  Ariel Nunez was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs and a  triple.
 Even though they lost, North Babylon was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .424. That's the best  batting average they've managed all season.
 North Babylon now  has a losing record at 8-9. As for Sachem North, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Babylon will take on Copiague at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Sachem North, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Ward Melville at 5:00  p.m.
