Gulf Breeze is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Horizon.

Gulf Breeze walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 22-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Oviedo took on Buchholz on Saturday. The Lions blew past the Bobcats 3-0.

Oviedo's got stronger as the match went on, holding Buchholz to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 25-11.

Gulf Breeze's win bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Oviedo, their victory bumped their record up to 22-6.

Gulf Breeze came out on top in a nail-biter against Oviedo in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Lions' Avery Stephens, who had 43 digs and two aces.
