Verrado had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Buckeye Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.
While Verrado won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 27-25.
Alyssa Ortiz paced Verrado's offense, picking up 16 kills. Ortiz got some help from Baylee Wakeham and her 39 assists. Taylor Thomas controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
